At JSSA, providing high-quality care to our neighbors is more than just a job – it’s our mission.

As a field placement agency for high school, undergraduate, and graduate mental health/social work students, JSSA provides an opportunity for students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Interns gain valuable experience working within a nonprofit that serves individuals and families across all stages of life.

Location Requirement

JSSA serves the National Capital Region, including parts of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be able to live and work in this region and have the ability to commute to JSSA locations as required.
