Anyone in the National Capital Region can call. A real person answers—someone who listens with both compassion and knowledge, then connects you to the resources you need, whether through JSSA, another nonprofit, a local agency, or public benefits.

In an average month, J-Caring supports nearly 100 individual callers:
- Neighbors facing financial hardship—struggling to afford rent, utilities, or food.
- People with disabilities or complex mental health needs—often navigating fragmented systems alone.
- Older adults and their families—seeking help aging in place or weighing care options for a loved one.
