Linda Roth Platt serves as the Chief Development and External Affairs Officer at JSSA, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in philanthropy, strategic planning, and nonprofit management. A dynamic and results-driven leader, Linda has a proven history of building strong, mission-driven teams and delivering significant growth in fundraising through major gifts, corporate and foundation support, annual giving, and planned giving. Throughout her career, she has held senior positions at respected organizations, including the Human Rights Campaign, Compassion & Choices, the University of Maryland, and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, where she consistently exceeded fundraising goals and advanced the organization’s impact.

Linda’s professional journey comes full circle with her return to JSSA, where she began her nonprofit career by supporting JSSA’s Young Leadership, implementing our car contribution campaign, and donor engagement initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kalamazoo College and brings expertise in donor relations, board engagement, and strategic growth. Linda is passionate about advancing JSSA’s mission by cultivating meaningful, lasting relationships and expanding philanthropic support to strengthen our community.
