“Deeds of giving are the very foundation of the world.” – Mishna, Pirkei Avot 1:2
Three times a year, JSSA brightens the holidays for families and individuals in our community who are facing hardships. In November and December, when gift-giving is customary, families of all faiths receive gift cards so they can purchase what they really want and need with dignity.
Before Rosh Hashanah and Passover, volunteers deliver bags of traditional foods and items to recipients who might otherwise not have them for the holiday.
Please join JSSA in showing struggling families and individuals in our community that they matter with the Holiday Giving program.
Your generous monetary and gift card contributions will afford families the dignity of choosing what is most important to them: holiday foods, warm winter clothing, toys for the children, or special items that will make their lives more comfortable throughout the year.
