MindCraft Program

JSSA’s MindCraft is a program that provides school-based mental health and wellness services to schools across Montgomery County.

We are pleased to partner with MCPS to bring a comprehensive approach to providing mental health services in school-based settings. JSSA is offering Tier 1, Tier II, and Tier III services at 98 elementary, middle and high schools.

If there are no services listed under your school name, JSSA is not a provider in your school. 

 

MindCraft Services include:

TEEN MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
High school students receive training that helps them recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges and how to seek help from a
trusted adult.

STUDENT SUCCESS COORDINATION SERVICES
Elementary and middle school students receive short-term care coordination to help them increase their success in school. Services are provided for four
months.

SHORT-TERM, SOLUTION-FOCUSED TREATMENT
Provides students with individual, family, and group treatment, referral to ongoing treatment at JSSA, and connection to local resources.

THERAPEUTIC MENTORING
Middle school students receive a personalized plan to build communication skills, conflict resolution, and social skills. Students are engaged through,
sports, arts, recreation, coaching, and positive role modeling.

Empowering young people to build their own mental wellness while growing as leaders in their communities.

JSSA’s MindCraft program, has two mobile mental health units that can bring high-quality mental health services directly to your location to serve your members. Whether you are a recreation center, library, or private school, MindCraft can work with your organization to deliver services to your community.
