We’re excited to share that JSSA’s Director of Jewish Enrichment and Engagement, Rabbi Rachel Hersh, has launched a new podcast, Resiliency Radio! Through engaging conversations with leaders, clinicians, staff, and others connected to JSSA, the podcast explores how we build resilience—our ability to adapt to life’s changes and challenges—and how we nurture mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being throughout our community.

Episode #2 – Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA)

Episode two focuses on teen wellness.  Rabbi Rachel Hersh speaks with the participants and facilitators of JSSA’s July teen Mental Health First Aid training. Teen participants and JSSA staff share insights about their own experiences with mental health challenges and how the training helps them support others while growing stronger themselves. Thanks for tuning in and for helping us to reach those in need of support.

Episode #1 – Improving Communication Between Parents and Teens

In JSSA’s inaugural episode of our Resiliency Radio Podcast, Rabbi Rachel speaks with Joe Wilson, Senior Director of Mental Health Services at JSSA, about strategies, practical tools, and techniques that parents can use to improve communication with their teens.
