Clergy Training

The Jewish Clergy Training Program translates JSSA’s clinical expertise into practical tools for clergy.

Jewish clergy training programs provide a rare opportunity for area clergy to gather and learn from experts who tailor their presentation to the clergy experience.

Participants gain real-world tools, applicable to the day-to-day work of rabbis and cantors. Recent topics include hospice and end-of-life, compassion fatigue, special needs, grief after suicide, premarital counseling, mid-life challenges and opportunities, separation and divorce, and working with teens.

For information about JSSA’s Clergy Training Program, please call Natalie Merkur Rose at 301-610-8319 or e-mail nmrose@jssa.org.

* Please note that clergy trainings are not eligible for professional CEU credits for counselors and social workers.
