MCPS Fall Transitioning Youth Night

Montgomery County Public Schools Transitioning Youth Fall Event 2017

Families of students ages 14-21 with Individualized Education Plans are invited to meet representatives from adult service providers, including JSSA's Specialized Employment Services, at this informational event. The evening will include presentations from: The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) A parent of a young adult receiving traditional services from DDA Interpreters are available upon request; requests must be received by the Transition Support teacher no later than October 10, 2017.

Free Maryland ABLE Information Session


Join JSSA's Specialized Employment Services, The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, and JCRC for an information session with Maryland ABLE staff. Maryland ABLE is a new program to help individuals with disabilities save money and pay for qualified disability-related expenses without jeopardizing state or federal means-tested benefits such as SSI or Medicaid.
