Your life. A young child struggles with school. A teen is out of control. A mother is lost in depression and a father loses his job. A young man with special needs seeks independence, while a frail elderly woman holds on tenuously to hers. And a couple who has spent decades together face an end-of-life crisis. Whenever life takes you or your family by surprise, know that hope - and help - are at hand.
Our help. For more than 115 years the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA), a private non-profit community organization, has exemplified Jewish values by reaching out and helping everyone in the
Washington metropolitan area who needs us – regardless of religious background, race or ability to pay.
We make a lasting difference in the lives of more than 25,000 individuals a year through our wide range of
counseling,
