Our help. For more than 115 years the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA), a private non-profit community organization, has exemplified Jewish values by reaching out and helping everyone in the Washington metropolitan area who needs us – regardless of religious background, race or ability to pay.

We make a lasting difference in the lives of more than 25,000 individuals a year through our wide range of counseling, educational and career services, in-home support, hospice and nursing care, support and social services.

JSSA accepts full-fee-for-service as well as most major insurance and managed care plans. JSSA also accepts Medicare and Medicaid and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need. Information about JSSA's fees and charges is available upon request.
