 February is Jewish Disability Awareness Month
The mission of Jewish Disability Awareness Month is to unite Jewish communities and organizations for the purpose of raising awareness and supporting meaningful inclusion of people with disabilities and their families in every aspect of Jewish life.


JSSA’s supported employment for individuals with special needs offers customized services including vocational assessment, a work readiness group program, job development and placement and ongoing job coaching support. Our ongoing services are ideal for those whose goal is community-based competitive employment.

Career Exploration
Discover your strengths and focus on career interests to chart a rewarding career direction. Formal, individualized assessment. Fees can be paid privately or by appropriate state agencies.

Workforce Readiness
Get ready for the workforce with our Work Adjustment Training program--an 8-week, small group course, for those who would like to learn the basics of what it takes to find, get, and keep a job. Individual career interests explored, resumes developed, job searches and practice interviews conducted. Fees can be paid privately or by appropriate state agencies.

Job Development and Ongoing Workplace Support
JSSA can help you find a job, interview for the job and train you to do the job once you get it. Ongoing drop in support can ensure continued success as we work with you and your employer to teach new skills, work out challenges, and find room for advancement if possible. Fees can be paid privately or by appropriate state agencies.

Monthly Dinner Outing with JSSA ECS Group
Get together once a month to socialize and discuss any work-related issues you might want to share. Clients select site and pay only for the meal.
