Parenting and Family Workshops and Support Groups
For: Parents and families of children and teens with emotional, psychological, physical, medical or learning issues.
Service description: JSSA offers a wide variety of
parenting and family workshops and groups throughout the year including how to recognize the signs and symptoms of bullying in school and cyberspace; how to raise a challenging child; support groups for adult children struggling with caring for an aging parent; family support groups for parents and family members of children with disabilities; or weekly groups for parents grieving the death of a young child.
Service providers: Clinical social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors and educational specialists.

Payment: Information about JSSA's fees and charges is available upon request. JSSA accepts full fee-for-service as well as most major insurance and managed care plans. JSSA also accepts Medicare and Medicaid and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need.
