Individual, Family and Group Therapy
For: Children and adolescents, ages 4-17 who are having trouble at school, seem unhappy or bored, exhibit problematic behavior, or are having difficulty developing and maintaining relationships, and their families.
Service description: Ongoing assessment and treatment through a full range of therapeutic options including cognitive behavior therapy; psychodynamic psychotherapy; play therapy; parent/child, family and group therapy; and other evidenced-based approaches. JSSA provides both brief and longer term intervention to achieve symptom relief and improved functioning at home and at school.
Service providers: Clinical social workers, psychologists, board certified psychiatrists and educational specialists.

Payment: Information about JSSA's services and charges is available upon request. JSSA accepts full-fee-for-service as well as most major insurance and managed care plans for this service. JSSA also accepts Medicare and Medicaid and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need.
