JSSA's Autism Family Coordination Program was featured in the January 28, 2009 Washington Jewish Week: "One Stop Shopping Via JSSA: New Program Helps Families Cope With Autism" For: Children with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
Service description: JSSA’s Family Coordination Program provides support for the whole family (parents, siblings, and other family members) empowering them to make informed decisions and access needed services that maximize the quality of life, development potential, and functioning of their loved ones and the entire family as a unit. The program provides:
• Identification and assessment of child and family needs
• Development of an integrated plan of care
• Specialized counseling, groups and behavioral support
• Service coordination with multiple providers
• Information and referral services
• Ongoing monitoring, support and education
Current Autism Disorders Across the Lifespan Workshops and Groups Service location: JSSA offers this service at our 200 Wood Hill Road, Rockville location.

Payment: Information about JSSA's services and charges is available upon request. JSSA accepts full-fee-for-service as well as most major insurance and managed care plans for this service. JSSA also accepts Medicare and Medicaid and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need.
