JSSA can help by providing early childhood counseling services:

• Thorough psychosocial evaluation and functional assessments
• Individual, family and sibling therapy
• Age-appropriate social skills therapy groups
• Support groups and skills workshops for parents
• Skill development for managing challenging behaviors
• Counseling for children with special needs, including autism, Asperger’s and other pervasive developmental disorders

JSSA can also help by providing consultation services:

• Referral to appropriate community services such as neuropsychological, psychiatric and medication evaluations and special educational services
• Kindergarten, preschool or daycare observations
• Consultations and coordination with teachers, parents and other care providers
• Educational workshops for parents, teachers and daycare providers
• Advocacy for students with special needs

Information about JSSA's fees and charges is available upon request. JSSA accepts insurance and managed care plans including Medicare and Medicaid for many of its services and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need. Some of JSSA's services are only available on a full-fee basis.
