JSSA’s Collaborating Couples program enables individuals, couples and families to improve communication, resolve conflicts and strengthen decision-making. This non-sectarian service provides needed assistance through times of challenge and transition—before, during and after marriage. JSSA’s team of highly skilled clinical professionals provide the following services:

  • Marital and couples counseling; including counseling for couples with a special needs child as well as pre-and post-divorce counseling
  • Pre-marital counseling including “Making Marriage Work,” a nationally acclaimed six-week program proven to significantly decrease the occurrence of divorce
  • Collaborative divorce coaching and assessments by collaborative divorce child specialists: Collaborative divorce is a team approach to divorce that focuses on the emotional, legal and financial issues and takes into account the highest priorities of both adults and their children. This supportive process commits to resolving all issues outside of court.
  • Separation and divorce support groups for adults and children

Information about JSSA's fees and charges is available upon request. JSSA accepts insurance and managed care plans including Medicare and Medicaid for many of its services and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need.  Some of JSSA's services are only available on a full-fee basis.
