JSSA offers administrative and émigré assistance volunteer opportunities - many of which can be short-term - where you can utilize your skills to help others in our community.

Office and Administrative Support
JSSA’s office volunteers answer telephones, prepare mailings, compile information, and perform other administrative tasks essential to the daily operations of the agency.

Newcomer Resettlement Services Support
JSSA’s newcomer resettlement program provides services to help ease the transition for émigrés into a new homeland, culture, and way of life in the Washington area. Volunteers may assist by tutoring newcomers in English, providing free medical or dental consultations and services, or offering pro-bono legal or accounting advice.
