Premier Homecare

Service description: Premier, a non-sectarian, not-for-profit subsidiary of JSSA, is a private duty homecare company that serves hundreds of families each year throughout the Washington Metropolitan Region.  Premier specializes in developing, delivering and coordinating comprehensive care management solutions that allow older adults to live independently - and with dignity - in the comfort of their homes.  Premier provides a full array of home support and homecare services. Programs are flexible and allow for daily, weekly or around-the-clock care. Premier is licensed as a residential service agency through the Maryland Office of Healthcare Quality, and all of its caregivers hold licenses or certifications from the Maryland Board of Nursing or the Virginia Board of Nursing. Caregivers receive ongoing training and instruction so they can embrace Premier’s philosophy for delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Additionally, registered nurses monitor clients’ clinical status so they can adjust caregiver plans as necessary.
Premier has professional staff working from the home office who provide constant support to the field staff. These professionals advise, direct and evaluate the caregivers working in clients’ homes. Staff members (not individuals from an answering service) are on call to handle concerns or emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Service providers: Certified nursing assistants, nurses and homemakers. 
  
Service location:  Premier provides services in Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Services are offered anywhere an individual considers home: private homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, hospitals or hotels.
