Jewish Chaplaincy Services (JCS) offers compassionate pastoral care, spiritual, religious, and personal connection to elders and the vulnerable in the Jewish community when they are most in need. Our goal is to serve Jewish residents  in facilities not under Jewish auspices, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and prisons throughout the Washington metropolitan area. JCS clergy, chaplains and volunteers provide Jewish resources and programming, lead brief Sabbath and holiday services, facilitate discussion groups, provide one-on-one visitation, and lead sing-a-longs, art projects and other activities.
