JSSA’s employment and career services assists people of all ages and career backgrounds who are unemployed or underemployed, career changers, and those in need of career guidance. JSSA offers group and individual services designed around a personal employment strategy including creating an effective resume, and developing interview, job search and networking skills. Career testing is available. Focused workshops and lectures on employment related topics enhance the use of JSSA services. Many services are free, and fee adjustments are often available for other services.

Job Search Boot Camp
A free jam-packed, action-oriented, 2-day training program for those serious about finding a job in today’s tough times. Learn more about JSSA's job search boot camps.

Job Search Groups
Free weekly meetings. Network, share and learn from one another's experiences and update individual action plans. Facilitated by a professional career coach.

Workshops and Lectures
JSSA offers a wide range of employment-related workshops such as Hot Tips for Today’s Job Seekers, Financial First Aid, How to Get a Government Job, Social Networking for Job Seekers, etc. Usually free and always open to the public, these events are offered at JSSA's Fallsgrove location as well as in a variety of community settings. Career Coaching and Exploration
Meet 1:1 to develop your personal job search strategy, refine career goals, create a top-notch resume, practice interview skills, etc. Whether you are considering a mid-life career change, returning to the workforce, choosing a college major, or figuring out where you fit in the workforce, JSSA can help you find a rewarding direction through informal and formal assessment. While this is a fee-for-service program, JSSA may be able to provide financial assistance on a sliding scale based on need.
