Educational and Neuropsychological Assessments and Solutions

 

 

For: Children and adolescents 4-17 who are struggling with learning, social, emotional and academic issues. This service is also available for adults.

 

Service description:  Comprehensive, individualized educational and neuropsychological assessments, detailed analysis of test results, personalized intervention strategies, and support in implementing recommendations.

Service providers:   Psychologists, neuropsychologists and educational consultants work with you and your child to identify your child's unique challenges through a variety of personalized testing, create intervention strategies and provide advocacy.

Service location:JSSA offers this service through our Fallsgrove office.

Weinfeld Education Group, JSSA's educational consultants, help parents identify and implement the services and accommodations needed to achieve academic success through:


Service and Needs Identification

Determine the strengths and needs of the student through a variety of measures, including conferring with all involved staff, observations, and a review of psycho-educational testing results. Help parents prioritize recommended interventions, accommodations and strategies.

 

Advocacy

Represent or accompany parents at school meetings to:  communicate student strengths and needs; explore appropriate school services and programs; assist in the school application process; review IEP and/or 504 plans; implement recommendations for appropriate accommodations, goals and objectives, and instructional strategies.

Consultation

Link parents with a variety of community resources and supports: tutors, therapists, assessors, beneficial technology, and opportunities for enrichment (such as gifted educational experiences and arts activities).
