
February is Jewish Disability Awareness Month
The mission of Jewish Disability Awareness Month is to unite Jewish communities and organizations for the purpose of raising awareness and supporting meaningful inclusion of people with disabilities and their families in every aspect of Jewish life.
JSSA’s Autism Disorders Across the Lifespan services and programs provide support for the whole family (parents, siblings, and other family members) empowering them to make informed decisions and access needed services that maximize the quality of life, development potential, and functioning of their loved ones and the entire family as a unit. JSSA's services offer ongoing monitoring, support and education for the entire family through:
- Identification and assessment of child and family needs
- Development of an integrated plan of care
- Specialized counseling, groups, workshops and trainings
- Specialized couples counseling and parent support
- Service coordination with multiple providers including behavioral supports
- Information and referral services
JSSA also offers a wide range of specialized growth and learning programs, groups and social clubs throughout the year for children, teens, and adults across the autism spectrum and their families.

Information about JSSA's services and charges is available upon request. JSSA accepts full-fee-for-service as well as most major insurance and managed care plans for this service. JSSA also accepts Medicare and Medicaid and can provide financial assistance on a sliding fee scale based on need.
