Legacy Society Legacy Society

Members of the Legacy Society are donors who have created a lasting legacy through a planned gift. Whether by naming JSSA in a will, making JSSA a beneficiary of a charitable trust, or by designating retirement assets or life insurance proceeds to JSSA, these acts demonstrate a commitment to our mission — to be the first place for people of all backgrounds to turn for clinical and social services of the highest quality that sustain and nurture everyone who seeks assistance.

If you are considering including JSSA in your will, please share our Sample Bequest Language with your estate planning attorney. Once you establish a bequest or other planned gift – or if you have already done so – please complete the Legacy Member Form and submit it to the Development Department so that you may be welcomed as a member of the Legacy Society. Of course, if you wish to remain anonymous we will protect and honor your privacy.

There are many ways to make a gift that can impact JSSA beyond your lifetime. Learn more about options that take into consideration your personal circumstances and the needs of your heirs.

Always rely on your attorney or other qualified advisors to guide you through the estate planning process. For more information, contact Shira Oler at JSSA, 301-610-8344.
