T
he Jewish Clergy Training Program, led by JSSA clinical social
workers and synagogue liaison staff, provides trainings tailored
to clergy use on a variety of topics around lifecycle events,
developmental issues, family dynamics and pastoral care.
Participants are provided with practical, current and ready-to-use
information.
Past training topics have included: working with teens, working
with couples, divorce, boundary-setting and end-of-life issues.
Clergy are encouraged to request trainings specific to their needs.
Trainings are generally 3 hours in length, free of charge and are
held either at a JSSA office or a congregation.
