Chief Development Officer/Fallsgrove

 

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled, creative, senior-level fundraising professional to lead our resource development program, in this recently opened position. Reporting to a new, dynamic CEO, you will be part of the senior management, collaborating on an exciting vision to grow JSSA – one of the greater Washington area’s fastest growing and most well-respected human service organization.

The staff at JSSA do what they love and love what they do within our caring organizational culture. Our 100+ year history, vital mission, and deep-seated values have enabled us to attract an extremely talented, committed staff and a prominent Board of Directors. This team appreciates the critical role of fund development for JSSA and work together to support JSSA’s philanthropic objectives. It also helps to work in our comfortable, state-of-the-art new headquarters.

We are seeking a highly energetic leader with 10+ years experience, to manage a comprehensive development program, but moreover, to create a new strategic and tactical plan for resource development. The right person is a capable relationship cultivator and major gift solicitor. Finally, s/he will have the opportunity to craft a new vision for philanthropic advancement of JSSA, and organize the resources to help realize our organization’s potential.

JSSA is looking for a Client Services Disability Coordinator at our Fallsgrove location. Requirements are as follows: BA/BS in Psychology, Behavioral Science or other related Human Services fields; at least 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities. Applicants should have a working knowledge of DDA, Ticket to Work and DORS funding resources. The incumbent must be able to work with minimal supervision and have the ability to provide competitive employment and retention supports to individuals with disabilities. Position requires good customer service, time management, communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment with rigid deadlines. Working knowledge of MS Office necessary.

 
JSSA is the hospice to turn to for exceptional end-of-life care that supports dignity and comfort for individuals and provides peace of mind to their families. Positions are available for full and part-time case management, weekend and PRN staff. Low nurse to patient ratio. Hospice experience is preferable; will mentor clinician with strong clinical skills.

Synagogue Liaison Program - Clinical Social Worker/Montrose Road

 

JSSA has a full time opening for a clinical social worker in its expanding Synagogue Liaison Program at our Montrose Road office. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and organized professional who will represent JSSA to several local synagogues. Consult with rabbis, staff and congregants about interpersonal and organizational issues. Provide individual counseling, workshops, referrals to JSSA and community resources. Occasional evening hours necessary. LCSW-C required.

 

JSSA has an immediate opening for a part time contract position for a Consulting Board Certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide child, adolescent, and adult psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring. MD license required. Approximately 10-12 hours per week. Some evening hours preferred. The position operates out of our Fallsgrove office.

Clinical Social Worker/Fallsgrove

 

Part-time licensed clinician position to provide individual, family and group therapy and case management with children, adolescents, and adults who are deaf and hard of hearing.  Minimum three years clinical experience, Maryland (LCSW-C) license and strong ASL (American Sign Language) skills required.  Some evening hours required.

 

Case Manager/Fallsgrove

  

Full-time experienced LGSW or related experience candidate with experience in assessments, case management, referrals, care coordination, advocacy and accessing benefits for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.  Experience facilitating support groups is also preferred.  Home visits in Montgomery County and occasional evening hours may be required.

 

Administrative Supervisor/Fallsgrove

 

JSSA has a full-time Administrative Supervisor position in its new Fallsgrove, Rockville headquarters. Responsibilities include: supervising administrative assistants, collecting client payments, managing client flow, managing insurance billing, transcribing from a Dictaphone & providing a wide variety of administrative support. Must have at least 7 years experience, excellent supervisory, customer service and communication skills, must enjoy working with the public, detail-oriented, and be proficient in MS Office.
