Manager, Marketing and Communications
The Marketing and Communications Manager is directly responsible to the Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with all department supervisors. Duties and responsibilities cover general agency marketing strategy (with the end goal of positioning JSSA as provider and employer of choice with a focus on increasing visibility within the Jewish community); maintenance of a consistent brand and “look and feel” for all marketing, development and agency-wide materials; oversight of the design and implementation of marketing materials; supervision of the agency’s PR outreach, production of marketing and PR materials and oversight of the JSSA website and social media plan; and supervision of the Marketing and Communications Associate. Qualifications: Academic/educational experience or a background in journalism, PR, non-profit management, etc. Demonstrated writing and editing skills. Digital media knowledge and experience. Desktop publishing experience (InDesign, Photoshop). Hands on experience with website content management systems preferred. Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing or a related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant marketing/communication experience. Writing and design samples required.
